BCCI has launched a new jersey for world cup 2019 

Yesterday on 1 march, 2019  in Hyderabad the new jersey has launched for both Indian men and women cricket team. In the event Indian captain Virat kohli and MS Dhoni  were present along with Ajinkya Rahane and Prithvi Shaw . Also Indian women cricker Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues were there at the launch event. This new jersey will for the upcoming ICC World Cup going to be held in England.

The new jersey features three stars on the inside at the back, signifying India’s three World Cup titles (two ODI World Cup and one T20I World Cup). The stars are inscribed inside the garment, below the collar, at the back. The inscription includes the dates, scores and co-ordinates of the venues of Team India’s World Cup triumphs along with tag ‘Bleed Blue’.

The jersey is made out with two blue shades, a deep blue on the main part and light blue on the sleeves. While, on the side of the jersey Nike has used Orange stripes, While under the collar, Nike as designed Indian tri-colour.

By wearing this jersey captain kohli already given  his approval regarding new jersey. He said, "I can feel the change. It (new jersey) is so light on the body. It is breathable. I feel there is no restriction at all. It is very stretchable, more than the last jersey. I can’t wait to step on the field with this one.”

The interesting thing is that Nike has designed and made this jersey from recycled material. This new jersey is made out of recycled polyester, with bright blue colour intact" . While in 2015 world cup the jersey was made with recycled bottle. 

The jersey will be available in three different versions of ranging from Rs 2,495 to Rs 5,495.
